New School students in 1st-3rd grade had a community-wide celebration of the continent of Asia which included third graders’ country research presentations, Asian folktales performed by the second graders, and a sampling of delicious food for the students to try. In honor of the first graders’ work with India, students had their own version of Rangwali Holi (the Indian spring festival), and a colored powder explosion party!
