The New School Montessori has added a new subject to its Specials Program; Alexa Abner (with Skool Aid) is exploring farming with our elementary students. This week, students began their journey into farming by creating covers for their field notebooks using pokeweed berries foraged from TNSM’s campus. The 4-6th graders established a table of contents, which outlines the permaculture principles students will be considering each week as they design our farm together.
