TNSM teacher Colleen Blumer led the children in a botany lesson where students picked a variety of different flowers and collected them in egg cartons to take back to the classroom. Colleen reviewed various plant parts. They went from the very simple (flower, bud, stem, leaf and root) to the complex (pollen, pistil, stamen, egg case, seeds and more).
Colleen captured a special sequence of moments when Noah scattered a puff of dandelion seeds with a mighty blow.
