With the generous help of Lib Stone, local benefactor, TNSM 3rd, 4th and 5th graders have become the nation’s first touring Shakespeare ensemble made up entirely of elementary children. The New School Montessori has been offering an after-school Shakespeare Club for many years, but this was their first year to take the show on the road!
In previous years of Shakespeare Club, students have performed Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and this year they performed a 45-minute version of Macbeth throughout the city.
