We are very proud to have 4 musicians associated with TNSM to be nominated for the 17th annual Cincinnati Entertainment Awards (CEA).
- Our drumming instructor Baoku Moses, TNSM teacher Brendan Blumer, and their band Baoku & The Image Afrobeat Band have been selected under the World Music/Reggae category.
- TNSM parent Kristen Kreft and her band The Perfect Children have been nominated for R&B/Funk/Soul and Best Live Act.
- TNSM teacher Mary Ohlinger-Pray’s son, Allan Pray, has been nominated for best album with his most recent CD called, Race: The Portrait of a Town. * The best album category is selected by a panel of music critics, while fans vote for the other nominees.
Congratulations to all for this fine honor!
You have until January 14 to join the rest of the city in voting for the CEA nominees at this link.

Thanks for posting this! I also want to mention that Brendan Blumer, who works at TNSM and is TNSM Colleen Blumer’s son, also plays with Baoku. MOP
