Margaret Kellar, Head Teacher (South)

Since 1986 Margaret has been working with elementary and preprimary students at TNSM. She began her career as a 6 to 9 Teacher and later served as 6 to 9 Head Teacher. In the Preprimary Program she has served as 3 to 6 Teacher, 3-6 Head Teacher and 3-6 Spanish Teacher. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in elementary education from Xavier and is certified in Montessori education at both the 3 to 6 and 6 to 9 levels.

Margaret was born in the Philippines and lived overseas while growing up. Her extensive travel experience accounts for her special interest in people and cultures, as well as her fluency in Spanish. Before coming to TNSM, Margaret tutored and taught English as a second language to children and adults. She also worked as a model for Kodak while living in Japan.

Margaret and her husband Kevin have two children who have attended TNSM. Paul is a TNSM alumnus while Francine remains a current student.
