New School Montessori elementary art teacher, Robin Hartmann, gives a brief lesson in the video below encouraging  students to make their own binoculars from empty toilet paper rolls. Once finished, Robin suggests that students use their newly-made binoculars to focus their attention on something they see outside and to draw a picture of it.
