It’s fall!

New School Montessori preprimary students are enjoying the fall season both indoors and out.

While outside, in the preprimary woods, they create leaf crowns, collect acorns, climb trees and rake big piles of leaves for jumping.

Inside, students study and work with pumpkins in numerous ways.

  • They describe the life cycle and label all the parts and of a pumpkin;
  • they study and wash its surfaces, noting rough and smooth skin;
  • and students love to work on their dexterity and hand-eye coordination by driving golf tees into the pumpkin’s surface.

Yes, there is much to enjoy in this exciting fall season!
