Maureen Simon, (3-6) Teacher
Maureen has been a Montessori teacher in a (3-6) classroom for 20 years. She completed her undergraduate degree at Loyola University Chicago and fell in love with the Montessori method during her masters work at Xavier University. She has taught Montessori phonics, math and science classes at Xavier University. She is also trained in Orton-Gillingham and uses it daily in language lessons.
Maureen lives in Pleasant Ridge with her husband, Steve, and boys, Max and Henry. When she isn’t watching her boys run cross country and track, she loves to go antiquing, sew and create materials for the classroom.
