TNSM Welcomed Japanese Visitors

We were so pleased to welcome Miyoko Wordell and the 4 students she brought with her from their Montessori school in Japan (Montessori International School).  Our TNSM families were enriched by having  Yuna (11), Marin (9), Luna (7) and Sayra (8) stay with them for an evening during the week that the children were visiting at The New School Montessori. We are grateful for the relationships we have built worldwide with our friends in Japan, Costa Rica and beyond.

Kindergarten Play

The kindergartners wrote the story, created the set and worked out the choreography to produce this clever play about animals and their babies. After the performance, all were invited to attend the Kindergarten Art Show downstairs where the children displayed their paintings that were inspired by Picasso, Monet, Klee, Lautrec and more. Click below to see the play from the opening words to the final bow.
