I’m a huge fan of Dr Brené Brown and her work. In this wonderful animated short, she talks about the difference between empathy and sympathy. “Empathy is a choice,” she says, “and it’s a vulnerable choice because in order to connect with you, I have to connect with something in myself that knows that feeling.” Funny, beautiful and definitely worth watching.
