Thanksgiving pumpkin pies are just around the corner…

When you’re up to your elbows in pumpkin, you soon realize just how full of gooey goodness they are! Separating out those slippery seeds for soaking in brine and roasting later makes an amazingly crunchy treat, not to mention the pumpkin pulp that becomes a delicious Thanksgiving pie!

The students in 1st-3rd grade thoroughly enjoyed getting messy and labeling the various parts of a pumpkin.
