Thanks

Hello Friends,

I cannot believe we are almost at the end of the academic year. It is hard to put into words the level of gratitude I feel toward our parent, student, and staff community. Early in the pandemic, I wrote a lot about the meaning of community. How, at the core of it, we are asked to put others’ needs before our own. To think about the “greatest good for the greatest number.” To wear masks, avoid crowds, restrict travel, socially distance – not only for our own safety – but for the most vulnerable among us. Each of you helped to keep us open and safe. Each of you made sacrifices so that our children could be together to learn, play, and grow. Thank you. Truly. What we did together wasn’t easy, but each time I heard children playing outside my office window, or observed the irreplaceable moments of discovery that come from working with the Montessori materials, I felt compelled to call every staff member and parent within our community to simply say, “thanks.”
Best,
Jeff Groh
