Making Valentine’s Day cards for neighbors and delivering baskets to Ronald McDonald House

As part of their 100-Day celebration, 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders came together to make 100 Valentine’s Day cards and delivered them to our TNSM neighbors. They had a blast delivering the cards, and the 50 degree temperature was a wonderful bonus!

The class also celebrated Valentine’s Day by creating gift baskets for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. TNSM Families contributed items that help make a stay in a new place more comfortable with packaged snacks,  small toys, books, art supplies, blankets, stuffed animals, cozy socks, toothbrushes, chapstick, etc. Once the items were collected, the children worked together and sorted all of the gifts, assembled well-rounded gift-baskets, and filled them with handmade Valentines–notes of love and encouragement before they were delivered to the RMH families. We are so impressed by the children’s kindness, teamwork, and generosity.
