Andrew Kartal is a longtime beekeeper and friend of The New School Montessori. He enjoys visiting us each year to share his love of bees (and honey) with the non-nappers. We always invite Andrew to join us for lunch, and he stays into the afternoon giving the children plenty of time to ask questions and see the bees up close. Even Yance, our facilities manager, was lured by the buzz and had some questions of his own.
