Parents of next year’s kindergartners, first and fourth graders are invited to learn about what comes next in their children’s education as they continue on in their journey through the 9-year cycle here at TNSM. Valuable information about curriculum and what is expected of students at each of these levels will be shared as well as seeing how parents’ involvement matters.
Childcare will be provided for children of TNSM age.
Programs will be hosted in: the Preprimary (K), in the Morning Room (6-9), and in the Annex (4th).
You are welcome to attend TNSM Board meetings usually held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. We have 10-12 parent board members each year who meet with administrative staff to help guide the business and mission of the school.
All are welcome to help with auction planning meetings as the committee prepares for the school’s March 14 Auction & Gala.
The meeting will be begin at 8:15 a.m. in the Nap Room.
Please join us on Sunday, January 25 from 2-4PM at TNSM for our winter open house. Invite family, neighbors and friends to visit. Teachers, board members and staff are available to answer questions, to give tours and to facilitate the discovery process as children explore the environment.
Please join the Development Committee as they plan fundraising events on the third Thursday morning of the month.
The New School Montessori has put together an event to raise funds for their scholarship program while showcasing its musical parents, and its healthful chef-prepared lunches with vegetarian options. The evening begins in the front room of The Northside Tavern featuring an acoustic set with New School parent Kristen Kreft of The Perfect Children.
Enjoy light snacks provided by TNSM’s cuisine team -Audrey Cobb, former owner/chef of Mullane’s Parkside Café, and her assistant Ryonen Ignatius, as well as early sign ups for “Skareoke”.
At 8pm, head to the back room to help raise funds for TNSM’s Scholarship Fund by participating in Live Band Karaoke, led by TNSM parent Paul Brumm.
