We met a quite a number of historical figures today in the first grade play. A sleepy Bob Dylan in his black hat and cool shades welcomed us to his birthday party and then promptly fell asleep. In Bob’s dream, he was visited by famous characters from the past and present. We hope you’ll enjoy Bob Dylan’s birthday party when you click on the video below. The theme of the Art Show was Impressionism. The kindergartners created works based on Degas’ dancers, Monet’s water lilies and more.

TNSM music instructor Andrea Rosenthal Warnken teaches elementary students concepts involved in creating music and in appreciating music from many cultures and times.     TNSM strings instructor Melissa Robinson has led our elementary strings program for 2 years. We have a first-year program for beginning strings and an orchestra for second-level strings. Melissa  was formerly the Director of the Strings Division at Northern Kentucky University.     Parents, grandparents, staff and students enjoyed the hour’s musical showcase.
