Kindergartners are going to the Green Acres Farm in Indian Hill to learn about the winter solstice. They have discussed many traditions of the holiday event, including singing and dancing around the Scandinavian yule log, and they have tasted yule cake.
Please make sure your child is dressed warmly on Monday with snow boots, mittens, coat and hats as the presentation is outdoors. Our chef, Audrey Cobb, will be packing a lunch for the kindergartners to eat on their adventure to Green Acres.
TNSM’s Beginning Strings and Orchestra will be giving a holiday concert in the Growing Room at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 19.
Strings Director, TNSM parent Melissa Robinson, was the former NKU director of the strings division and was the artistic director of several NKU ensembles. We hope you’ll join in showing your support of this amazing group of musicians.
As part of the kindergartners’ dance studies with TNSM (3-6) teacher, Jennifer Frank, they will be taking a field trip to the Cincinnati Ballet where Jennifer teaches.
Students will observe a rehearsal for the upcoming production of Camelot and will receive a behind-the-scenes tour.
Lunch will be provided.
Dance teacher Jeanne Speier and Art teacher Robin Hartmann lead an after-school club combining dance and art. Their performance will be held on May 15 at 4PM in the Growing Room. We hope you’ll join them.
