Earlier this semester, students in (9-12) learned about atoms by using the Bohr Atom, a flat representation created by Niels Bohr in 1913. Before building specific atoms, students read about the neutrons and protons inside the nucleus and the electrons that spin in orbits in the shells around the nucleus.
